Harrell Remodeling, Inc. is proud to introduce you to one of our premier designers, Lisa Sten. Having completed award-winning projects that have been featured in several books and magazines, Lisa’s commitment to excellence brings prestige to Harrell Remodeling’s exceptional design/build team.

Throughout her career, Lisa has guided numerous private, commercial and public-sector clients in accomplishing their architectural designs and construction objectives. From focused front-end interviewing to helping clients refine how they want their space to look, feel, and perform, Lisa’s work centers on her customer’s goals and style preferences, first and foremost.

Lisa’s work and commitment to excellence has been recognized repeatedly by the local and regional NARI awards, the national COTY awards, NKBA and other trade groups. Lisa also designed Harrell Remodeling’s new office headquarters, winning first place at the 2002 California Home and Design Achievement Awards. Other projects, including her personal residence and custom furniture designs, have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, the Palo Alto Weekly, the Los Altos Town Crier, South Bay Accent, Woman’s Day Specials, Home Digest and several Sunset books. Lisa has written dozens of articles on numerous design concepts and projects for Fine Homebuilding magazine, San Jose magazine, Home Digest magazine and Building Products magazine.

Previously, Lisa owned and operated a Minneapolis-based building design company, managing, among other engagements, restoration of the Washington Monument. Lisa holds a BA from Boston College and an Interior Design degree from Paier College of Art, in Hamden, Connecticut.
