We are looking for a collaborative and experienced Project Manager to help us successfully run our high-end residential, design+build projects. The collaborative team player we seek, will manage our incredible projects, develop positive relationships with our clients, industry partners, and fellow employee-owners. This hardworking individual will think on their feet and have a hand in implementing and strengthening our production processes. Could this be YOU? Your Success Factors: • Demonstrate the necessary characteristics to be the leader of your projects. Examples of leadership characteristics include: being punctual, proactive, organized, professional, supportive, composed, articulate, and accountable. • Possess the technical construction knowledge necessary to manage and administer a project through all phases from design through build. A project manager must be able to manage, at one time, multiple projects totaling $3 million per year within schedule and on budget. • Assist the Production Team Manager in assigning job tasks, supervision and training of Production Staff, mentorship of fellow coworkers, and reviewing/recommending promotions of fellow Production Staff. • Demonstrate a mastery of construction knowledge to be able to review project packages prior to sale, advise during the design to build process, recognize discrepancies between drawings and jobsite conditions, as well as effectively communicate issues before they become problems. • Be a proactive problem solver, who listens twice as much as speaking. • Focus on teamwork within a collaborative work environment that holds honesty, integrity, and respect for others with the highest regard. • Advocate excellent craftsmanship, expert design, and superior client care. • Collaborate with design and sales team professionals, including designers, estimators, and CAD specialists. The MUSTS: • 5 to 10+ years in high-end residential construction, with at least 2 years of managerial experience or be a technically astute Journeyman Carpenter who has 10-20 years’ experience in construction and is highly skilled in all aspects of remodeling, construction and administration of multiple projects. • Interprets blueprints for confirming material take-offs, and structural considerations (such as load bearing walls). Read, comprehend, and follow requirements of factory specifications of all materials used on the project. • Value engineering of projects while maintaining design intent. • Computer literate and comfortable with construction based software and smart phone/tablet technology. • Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a 'can do' attitude. • Polished appearance, articulate communication skills, open to feedback with boundless amounts of positive energy, and an inherent ability to work with all types of people. • Confident, resourceful, and self-motivated with an innate ability to quickly shift and prioritize tasks. • A commitment to delivering outstanding service to high-end clientele. • Amazing interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a team of people. • Be a reliable, focused problem solver with measurable follow-through. Title:  CAD Specialist Position  • Do you enjoy the creative elements and synergy of a collaborative Design+Build remodeling team? • Are you proficient in Chief Architect and do you work independently? • Have you guided projects from initial as-built measures through permit and construction drawing sets? As a member of our CAD / Design team you will: Work with our design team on residential Design+Build projects through the following tasks: compile site survey information to verify code and set-back requirements; measure existing project and take photos; create base set of “as-built” drawings; create floor plans (electrical, structural, roof, etc.) and elevations for permit set; work with engineer to incorporate structural information; submit for planning/permit; integrate notes and revisions as required by the City; create window, door and finish schedules; coordinate with the Estimating Department and Designer to ensure consistency between drawings and written specifications; incorporate Designer’s red-lines. Projects vary from bathrooms and kitchens (and other interior spaces) to whole house remodels with additions. Your success factors: • Minimum of two years working in residential Design+Build remodeling on a variety of project sizes. • AS Degree or equivalent in Architectural Drafting. • Proficiency in Chief Architect software to create 3D renderings and a full construction plan set. • Experience with residential drawing standards including an eye for proper line weights and good graphic standards. • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Understanding of 20/20 or equivalent cabinet program preferred. • Self-starter with ability to work independently and self-direct, yet multi-task numerous projects, work under pressure, produce deliverables and have endurance to meet deadlines and shepherd projects through to completion. • Knowledge of Green Building and Universal Design a plus. • Polished appearance, articulate communication skills and an excellent ability to work with all types of people. • Confident, resourceful and self-motivated with an innate ability to quickly shift and prioritize tasks. As a member of our Design / Sales team you will: Meet and qualify prospective clients, offer and sell design contracts, work efficiently on design of projects from concept stage through to construction documents and drawings for permit (working with our CAD specialists and engineer), meet regularly with clients to review design decisions, sell the construction contract for the project and follow the construction of the project through to completion while attending key meetings on site for electrical walk-throughs, tile layout, etc. Projects range from bathrooms and kitchens (and other interior spaces) to whole house remodels with additions. Prospect for prospective clients through a variety of marketing events. This is a full-time position. Your success factors:
  • Minimum of 5 years proven sales with a variety of job sizes and clientele.
  • Certified Interior Designer (CID), Certified Kitchen or Bath Designer through the NKBA (CKD, CBD) or ASID affiliation a plus.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with the Design+Build process under one roof.
  • Creative designer with strong space-planning skills and ability to select plumbing fixtures, colors, tile, flooring and other finishes. Be able to specify cabinetry, create an electrical plan and select light fixtures.
  • Knowledge of Green Building and Universal Design a plus.
  • Bachelors or Design Certificate degree preferred.
  • Computer knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and 20/20 or equivalent cabinet program.
  • Self starter with ability to self-direct, work independently within a team environment with endurance to work projects through to completion.
  • Polished appearance, articulate communication skills and an excellent ability to work with all types of people.
