Rafael Gomez, LIC

Harrell Remodeling, Inc. is proud to introduce you to one of our premier designers, Rafael Gomez. Rafael’s background in Architecture and extensive design experience bring a bold and forward-thinking edge to the Harrell Remodeling design/build team. After graduating from Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree, Rafael became a licensed Architect in Mexico. His award-winning thesis was an Educational and Interactive Children’s Museum for the City of Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. In 1995 Rafael began his professional career in San Francisco working in architecture firms. As a result of working in the field of design and construction, Rafael has developed a comprehensive design philosophy which begins with the assumption that design is an intelligent process through which people arrange their environment. On all of his projects, Rafael takes pride in systematic, extensive project feasibility research with all public permitting agencies and utility departments in addition to zoning and green building compliance. His collaboration with our production department and engineers ensures buildablility of his designs. Establishing a relationship with his clients based on mutual trust and respect, Rafael carefully listens to client needs and desires enabling a custom design that fits their unique lifestyle. Designs that allow for function, durability and longevity are Rafael’s trademark. To aid in his work Rafael obtained certification in Building Code Technology. Rafael joined the Harrell Remodeling team after 12 years of design/build experience. His vision and attention to detail have won him many awards from NKBA kitchen renovations to whole house remodels as well as new homes. In his spare time, Rafael is a Cub Scout Den leader assistant and he enjoys swimming. He appreciates gardening and enjoys family time. His favorite color is green. “Green is for life,” reflects Rafael.
