Designing The Elements
First, we'll meet and discuss how you and your family want to live in and around your home. We'll explore your daily activities and any special life considerations that are relent to how your home functions. We will then explore your design tastes, perhaps by together studying magazines, books and other resources as we develop ideas.

We will then develop schematic drawings, floor plans, as well as assist in selecting colors, materials and timeless design details/accents. In addition to resolving your home's functional issues, we will translate your personal style through thoughtful space planning and finish decisions.

Designing Your Budget
Developing your wish list and working within your budget are often the most challenging parts of design development. Dreams and budgets sometimes don't match. Our job is to do both - provide guidance on reaching your dreams, while respecting your budget. If needed, we will assist you with modifying the project to align your needs and desires with your budget. Phasing a remodel is another possibility - we can plan the schedule and the logistics of phasing your remodel after developing a master plan.

Harrell Remodeling helps you design your budget by considering the structural, financial, and design elements simultaneously. We go beyond generic estimating practices and study the unique issues related to your particular home and site. Our all-encompassing approach enables you to establish and work within the budget in a shorter timeframe than the standard practice of hiring a separate firm for design and yet another firm for construction.
