Harrell Remodeling is proud to introduce you to one of our award-winning designers, Kathleen Jaron.  Kathleen’s expansive design career has afforded her the luxury of practicing interior design for over two decades on both the east and west coasts. Her body of work covers both commercial and residential projects.

However, since moving to California in 2000 Kathleen’s primary focus has been residential design with projects ranging from kitchen and bath remodels to whole home transformations.  Certified in numerous forms of design, Kathleen adds a reputable and impressive edge to the Harrell Remodeling design + build team.

Having an architect as a father, Kathleen grew up happily touring and admiring grand buildings in urban spaces as well as new and historical homes.  This passion for and delight in architecture and design continued for Kathleen, leading her to earn a bachelor of science in Interior Design at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Over the years Kathleen has garnered a great deal of satisfaction and acclaim creating highly functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces for her clients to live in, relax in and enjoy.  These spaces are designed with her clients’ personal preferences in mind and then enhanced with her designer’s eye and expertise.

She is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), achieving this status by having a formal educational background in interior design, years of industry experience, and by passing the demanding and challenging National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam.  Additionally Kathleen has earned the title of Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) from the National Kitchen and Bath Association, after many years of experience designing kitchens and baths as well as passing the rigorous AKBD and CKD exams.  She has also designed furnishings, including benches for the atrium of an international organization in Washington, DC.

In her spare time Kathleen enjoys exploring the culinary arts and the great outdoors.
